The MC-GMA11-05C is a Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter designed to convert 10/100/1000BASE-T copper to 1000BASE-SX fiber optic. The Gigabit Ethernet media converter extends the distance of your network by interconnecting LAN devices that are physically separated by large distances, which provide you a simple and very cost-effective solution of connecting Gigabit Ethernet LANs over fiber optic. The MC-GMA11-05C provides 550 m(0.34 miles) transmit distance over multi-mode fiber at wavelength of 850nm. It is provided with SC connector option.
